The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has announced that the statewide Level 1 Drought Response remains in effect.

The City of Waleska encourages all residents and water customers to continue using water wisely and taking simple steps to conserve water whenever possible.

Ways to help conserve water include:

• Check for and repair leaking faucets, toilets, and irrigation systems.

• Run dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads.

• Avoid unnecessary outdoor water use.

• Follow Georgia’s outdoor water use requirements.

• Be mindful of everyday water use at home and outdoors.
